Time to say Goodbye

This past year at our Little Shop, has been an absolute dumpster fire. Every time we thought things couldn’t get worse, the universe said, ‘Hold my beer.’

Unfortunately, after ten magical years, our landlords advised that they wouldn’t be renewing our lease, so they can sell our factory vacant. Which, as much as we put on a smiling face every day, hit us like a tonne of bricks. And with a ticking time bomb looming over our heads (not to mention the current financial crisis on top of battling against the horrendous business killer monster Shitemu..) the past 12 or so months have been the most stressful year of our lives.

So, while we did have the option to continue trading until early 2026, with broken hearts we have decided to pull the pin early and get out now. We have closed the doors and are packing up the magical store that we know you all love as much as we do, our Little Shop of Horrors. Knowing there was an end date creeping closer and closer, has made every day more painful than the last. And we just couldn’t bear it any longer.

So, as much as we love seeing all of your smiling faces in our beloved Little Shop, the doors are now closed on 6/1 Watt Rd forever. There have been many tears and no doubt many more to come as we pack up all of our stock and tear down our wondrous labyrinth, that’s taken us 10 years to create.

Thank you to our many, many gorgeous customers. We are sorry that we haven’t had a chance to say goodbye to you all and to give you one last chance to visit the shop before its closure. Although a longish time coming, things have moved along swiftly over the past few weeks and bingo, bango, now we’ve got two weeks to be outta there.

So farewell to our Little Shop on Watt Rd, you’ve sure been a wild ride. And once reality sets in, we will miss you dearly. (Tearing up a little just thinking of it).
