If you’d like to make your visit truly unforgettable, you can also book one of our experiences or services in advance, from Movie Makeovers to Backlot adventures. That way you leave with not just goodies, but memories too.

We welcome visitors, but at the heart of it we are a store. Everything you see — the costumes, collectables, themed rooms and movie magic — exists because of purchases and bookings. Supporting our store at the register keeps the dream alive. Our small, family-run business relies on that support to continue building this wonderland and sharing it with everyone who walks through our doors. Our showroom is pretty amazing - like stepping into a chalk picture. We hear “WOW” from new customers every single day. We’ve transformed a 350 square metre factory into Melbourne’s most immersive pop-culture and costume store, with themed rooms, movie props, artwork, music and sparkling lights at every turn. It feels more like a movie set than a shop. You’ll find blockbuster costumes and collectables you won’t see anywhere else, and if you want to take it further, we offer unforgettable experiences like our Backlot Pass, Movie Makeovers, Wizardry Workshops, Princess Encounters and professional photography.

If you’re popping in to shop, no booking is needed. But if you’re visiting as a group, or wanting to enjoy one of our experiences, bookings are essential. We’re a family-run business with lots of services running at once, so planning ahead makes sure we’ve got staff and space ready for you. That way your visit is smooth, magical and not rushed.

Absolutely. Our Costume Hire and Makeup Salon are where transformations begin. Louise, our cinematographic makeup artist, creates looks that turn heads so fast that she's even snapped a few necks! And our costumes are carefully curated so you’ll look and feel the part. Add in a styled wig or a photoshoot in our studio, and you’ll leave feeling like you just walked off a movie set. Please note that our Costume Hire service is by appointment, please view our catalogue, you'll find it up there in our menu.

Yes, we have private parking reserved for customers right outside the store. For larger groups or buses, please call ahead - we need to be mindful of our neighbours and make sure parking is available for everyone visiting.

Most of our store is wheelchair accessible, though some doorways and display areas are a little narrower because we’ve filled every inch of our 350 square metre factory with magic. Larger chairs may find certain sections tricky, but we’ll always do our best to make your visit comfortable. Please call ahead if you’re visiting with a wheelchair so we can make sure displays are clear of walkways and ready for your arrival.

Yes, absolutely. We’ve created a dedicated Special Needs Adventure just for disability and special needs guests. It’s a guided experience with photo moments, behind-the-scenes stories and a goodie bag to take home. Booking ahead is essential so we can make sure staff and space are ready, and your visit is comfortable, supportive and unforgettable.

Yes! We hear so many parents say “it’s scary” - but it really isn’t. We like to call it exciting! There’s magic around every corner and everything in the showroom is G-rated (except for a few spooky surprises in Nightmare Alley… but hey, what do you expect?). Kids absolutely LOVE our shop, and we’ve built up quite the gang of regulars who can’t get enough. On top of that, we also offer experiences just for them, like Wizardry Workshops and Princess Encounters. Costume hire is for adults only, but there are plenty of treasures and retail costumes for little ones to take home.
