WE DID IT!!! 2.0 IS OPEN!

It’s been the longest… but somehow shortest… four months of our lives.
It was a long time coming, with the end of our lease looming over our heads. So we pulled the pin on the first shop, signed the new lease on January 13, and worked around the clock to build the next chapter… the next shop… the dream.
We absolutely could not have done it without a small group of helpers who showed up for us in a really big way.
First up… thank you so much to Alicia’s husband Scott. We quite literally couldn’t have done it without this big dickhead. He gave up fishing and riding for four months to help his crazy wife and even crazier sister in law build this place from scratch. He did the job of a whole team of tradies and did it without complaining (much). Thank you, Scott… you’re alright. Think we’ll keep you.
Huge thanks to Gerblanca and Corey for helping us move the entire costume hire range over. A massive job that would have been a total nightmare on our own. You legends made it possible and we are so grateful.
Thank you to Ash and Keelan for letting me bust your balls over the new logo. Ash… our new Audrey with her babies is divine. She’s so perfect and we love her so much. And Keelan, the typography you designed is STUNNING. You absolutely nailed it. Thank you both, so so much.
Sam for your WONDERFUL entertainers!!
Massive thanks to Mark and Lee for creating our new INCREDIBLE electric chair, coffin and villain throne. You brought our twisted little visions to life and they’ve already become instant favourites in the shop.
Thank you to Mork for your continued nerdy assistance over the years — for writing python scripts to help manage our inventory system, for the awesome drone footage, and for staying here till some ungodly hour on Thursday night to get the electric chair working. You absolute legend.
Thank you to Chris for coming in to paint with us for the day… and for always being a ray of sunshine. Your support and good vibes never go unnoticed.
Thank you to all our customers who visited and made a purchase over the Grand Opening weekend. It was so lovely to see your faces again and watch you explore the new digs.
Thank you to our friends, family and closest customers who attended our VIP Night on Friday and made sure Little Shop 2.0 launched with a bang! We had such a great night… thank you so much for coming and making it so special.
And to every single person who commented or messaged us between the closure of the old shop and the launch of 2.0… your kind words and encouragement really kept us going. We were running on fumes some days, and those little boosts meant more than you think.
And last… but definitely not least… Ash and little Flossy. Every week you came to visit us while we were building the new shop. On the days when we were absolutely wrecked and feeling a bit flat, your happy faces gave us the lift we needed to keep going. We would make sure something new was finished each week… just so Flossy had something new to explore the next Tuesday. You two gorgeous humans were the little light we needed week after week. When we had no one but each other to rely on, you were there… with your smiling, supportive faces… helping us find the energy to keep going. We don’t think you realise just how much of a difference you made. You’ve become our family, and we’re so grateful for you both. Thank you… it means more than you’ll ever know.
We are beyond humbled and so proud to be open again… and back to “normal” (if that word can even apply to us).
Here’s to many years of laughs, creativity and chaos… and helping you make the best memories in the best costumes in all of Melbourne.
And now… we need YOU.
We’ve done the hard yards rebuilding your Little Shop… now we need every single one of you to get behind it. Visit us. Shop with us. Book a costume, throw a party, lock in a photoshoot. Like, share, comment, tag a friend… leave a five star review! Every bit helps.
Support our small business… and all the other wonderful mom and pop shops like ours. It’s a tricky time out there for small businesses… but we believe we can turn the tide. Let’s get back to supporting the magic little places… the costume shops, the cafés, the bookstores, the art studios… the ones that make our communities feel special. But they only survive with your help. If we don’t show up for them… they won’t be here when we need them.
Thank you to everyone who helped us make this happen. We’re back!!! Now let’s party!
Much love… and sorry if we missed anyone.
Welcome back, to our Little Shop of Horrors!!!
