Non-Return of Costume / Costume Hire Recovery

This charge relates to the recovery of a costume that has not been returned in accordance with the Costume Hire Agreement and Terms & Conditions.

For invoicing purposes, this item is listed at $1.00 per unit. The quantity shown on this invoice represents the total dollar amount owing. Examples: Quantity 500 = $500.00 owing / Quantity 1000 = $1000.00 owing.

The amount charged includes fees and costs incurred as a result of the non-return of the costume, including:

• Overdue Fee: 100% of hire price per 3-day period overdue
• Administration Fee: 50% of hire price per day overdue
• Communication Charge: $20.00 per contact attempt
• Insufficient Funds Fee: $15.00 per occurrence
• Damage Repair or Loss Replacement Costs (where applicable)
• Full Costume Replacement Cost (where applicable)

The specific charges applicable to this matter have been included in the total amount shown on this invoice.

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of this invoice.

If payment is not received within 24 hours, recovery action will continue to escalate. Additional overdue fees, administration fees, communication charges, and other applicable costs will continue to accrue daily and remain payable.

Where hired property has not been returned and communication attempts have been unsuccessful, the matter may be referred to police as theft of hired property and may also be referred for debt recovery action. All costs associated with recovery of the costume and outstanding debt remain the responsibility of the hirer under the Costume Hire Agreement and Terms & Conditions.
