The Service Fee covers the additional handling, packaging, and administration required to prepare and manage a costume for postage.

This includes packing, dispatch, coordination, tracking, and managing the return process to ensure everything runs smoothly.

When a costume is sent out of the showroom, it requires additional time and handling beyond a standard in-store hire. This fee reflects the extra workload involved in delivering a reliable hire-by-post service.

How the Fee is Calculated

Service Fees:

• 25% of the costume hire price for one-way postage
• 50% of the costume hire price for return postage

These percentages form the base rate only

During peak periods, high-demand seasons, or where timing, logistics, or availability require it, these fees may be higher. This allows us to manage demand, protect availability, and maintain service standards across all bookings.

This fee structure applies to all hire-by-post bookings
