How to Wash Your Shake & Go Lace Front Wig

  1. Detangle gently before washing, starting from the ends and working up with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush.
  2. Use cold to lukewarm water and a wig-safe shampoo. Soak for a little while if needed to loosen product buildup and swish gently.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and apply a light wig conditioner if needed. Don’t rub or twist.
  4. Pat dry with a towel, then hang carefully by the nape to air dry. Never wring or blow dry with high heat - these are heat-resistant, but that doesn’t mean hairdryer torture is welcome.
  5. Once dry, give her some love with a wide toothed comb, then SHake & Go!

How to Apply Your Shake & Go Lace Front Wig

Start with a clean, secure base. We recommend braiding your natural hair flat against your scalp or wrapping it neatly before applying a wig cap. This helps create a smooth foundation and keeps your natural hair tucked away and protected underneath.

Next, gently place your Shake & Go Lace Front Wig over your head, aligning the lace front with your natural hairline. Adjust the fit using the built-in combs and adjustable straps at the back — you want it snug but comfortable, with no obvious gaps around your temples or nape.

Once it’s in position, you’ve got a few options:

  • Pop it on and go — these wigs are made for that!
  • Use a small amount of lace wig adhesive, tape, or Got2b spray gel along the front hairline, then press the lace gently into place and let it set.

The lace front on our Shake & Go wigs is designed to melt into the skin with minimal effort. You can trim it to suit your natural hairline, then blend with a little concealer or powder for an even more seamless look.

Final step? Style as you like — or don’t. These wigs are pre-styled and ready to wear straight out of the box. Give it a shake, admire yourself in the mirror, and you’re good to go.
